2012 summary of art

i try to do one of these every year so here we are! i actually did this a couple weeks ago but EH

i actually see improvement: not like last year's improvement, but i see it.
my favorite thing about how i improved is: NO HAIR!!!!! NO HAIR NO HAIR PRAISE THE LORD I DONT DRAW HAIR ON MY CATS ANYMORE im quite happy about that
i think getting into more video games also improved my art more: because i was more inspired to draw and try different styles.

also there's only 1 big cat in this one (march), and i've gotten so much better at drawing them: and im so happy about that like?? i was always so frustrated that i couldn't draw big cats but im so glad i worked to improve on that!!! yee

also: ears. it seems like not a big deal but it is for me, the ears got (sort of) smaller, and have a slightly more realistic look. the eyes also changed a lot, throughout the year i experimented with different eye shapes to see which one i liked more, and i finally found one i was happy with (November). in the wee years of 2008 i could NOT draw eyes as dynamic as i can now. it was grossly embarrassing
but big ears and large eyes are apart of my style and its hard to morph it out of my style completely : P

tl;dr overall im happy with my improvement: and if it werent for the internet, i probably wouldnt even be drawing as much as i do now. i owe it all to you guys! kisses all thousand of you ( qwq)/

also big shout out to homestuck and without it i wouldnt be able to draw people HAH
